Maharajah Curry Powder is considered the highest quality curry for many reasons. Hand-blended from the most expensive spices in the world, including Cardamom and a liberal amount of Spanish Superior Saffron, which is the most expensive spice. The heady fragrance of the blend will carry you back to the spice trading days of the high seas when merchant ships sailed around the world in search of the most exotic spices. You have a salt free blend here of just those exotic spices.

Curry is a blend that is filled with much history and misunderstanding. The local Indians would grind their spices up as they were needed for each meal enabling them to carefully select the various flavors used for each dish. The British however didn’t understand the individual nuances of this process and just referred to all dishes as “curry”.

Use our Maharajah Curry Powder to season your favorite Indian dishes, from chicken, lamb, chickpeas and lentil soups to rice, potato and vegetable dishes. Curry powders are also good on roasted and grilled potatoes.
