Backwoods Turkey

We blended Backwoods Turkey to have a smoky, down home flavor. It’s not your typical sage turkey rub, but it has the backwoods smokiness you would expect from a turkey circling a campfire spit. This rub is great on any poultry. Rub on a roast chicken or a smaller game hen. It will also be wonderful on the roast vegetables in the roaster next to the bird.

We crafted several other blends with Turkey in mind, but work equally well on chicken and pork dishes.  Take a look at all of our turkey seasonings, which are Sweet Turkey Wurky and Wild Texas Turkey.

We have a number of other blends which we blended with chicken in mind.  They are as popular with turkey as the Backwoods Turkey.  They include our Chipotle Honey Rub, Kicken Chicken, Flipping the Bird and Sweet Tweety.  Other blends which cross many cuisines but are wonderful with chicken are: Rick’s Casablanca, Berbere (Ethiopian) Seasoning, Creole Seasoning and or Cajun Seasoning to name a few.
