Grapefruit Black Tea
Our Grapefruit Black Tea is grown in the high elevations of Sri Lanka where higher elevations mean stronger, more invigorating teas. For many tea drinkers, a stronger cup of tea is just the thing to start a day. The base tea used is also Orange Pekoe grade, which is the highest grade available.
Our Grapefruit tea is blended with grapefruit flavor and orange peel which gives it a tangy, citrusy flavor a true grapefruit lover will really appreciate. Even the scent beckons you to steep a cup, it is so inviting.
This citrusy tea takes its rightful place along side several other teas you want to look at, including or Citrus Green Tea, Orange Grove Black Tea and Lemon Mango Punch herbal tea. We have others. Stop in and we’ll be glad to show you.
Hot tea brewing method: Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea, for each 8oz of water in the cup/teapot. Pour the boiling water over tea. Steep 3-5 minutes. Add milk and sugar to taste.
Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiled but slightly cooled water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tea. Add Ice. Top up with cold water, garnish & sweeten to taste.
