These Lucky Cat Tea Cups are really cute and the perfect addition to any tea drinker’s tea cup collection. There are several stories and legends about the Japanese Lucky Cat, also known as Maneki-neko, or the Beckoning Cat. Maneki-neko is revered in Japanese culture for saving a monk’s life. The cat motioned for the monk to come his way, just in time for when lightening struck a tree which fell where the monk was just standing. Maneki-neko has been revered ever since.

These 10oz ceramic cups are both microwavable and dishwasher safe, but we still recommend you hand wash them.

All you need is a Pincer Ball Mesh Tea Infuser to hold your tea, and a nice Japanese tea, like our Fukamushi Sencha Green Tea, which we import directly from the grower in Japan, and you’re all set.
