We crafted our salt free Marrakech Market blend with spices found in Moroccan Spice Markets. The result is a Marrakech Spice taste which should evoke thoughts of what it is like to wander the streets of Marrakech, Tangier, Fez and other Moroccan cities, taking in all the sights and smells of the spice markets and restaurants. We added just enough spiciness to bring the other flavors together to tempt your tastebuds and impress your guests.
This flavorful mixture makes an excellent seasoning for chicken, pork, beef, lamb, tofu, or other protein. Sprinkle or rub on about 1 tablespoon per pound, refrigerate for 1-2 hours or more before cooking, to allow the flavors to mingle with your dish.
Marrakech Market makes an excellent rub for grilled, steamed or sautéed Vegetables. Rub lightly with oil before adding the seasoning. Let sit for about 30 minutes or more before cooking for extra flavor. Try sprinkling on potatoes, or substituting for your other Curry Blends. The possibilities are endless.
