Pure Vermont Maple Syrup

There is no substitute for Pure Vermont Maple Syrup. And, if you are a true fan, then you have to love the robust flavor of Grade A Dark Maple Syrup. The flavor is a bit stronger, but that’s the maple coming through. The dark syrup comes from the sap collected as the days grow longer and the sugar content drops so it takes more sap to produce a gallon of syrup. This gives it the darker color and stronger flavor.

The Brown Family has been producing maple syrup and other maple products since 1840, and is one of the largest producers of maple syrup in Vermont. They work with small family farms all across Vermont and produce their syrup in small batches. This arrangement helps to preserve these family farms for future generations, and gives you a truly crafted maple syrup.

Pure Vermont Maple Syrup has so many uses, besides pouring on pancakes, waffles and French toast, as we love to do ourselves.

Maple syrup is also adds a great flavor to oatmeal and other cereals. Bake some in your muffins. Drizzle some in your ice cream. Make into a delicious maple glaze for your hams and pork chops. Add some to your slow simmered baked beans.

As a sweetener, add a bit to your coffee or tea in place of refined sugar. The maple flavor adds a touch you can’t get from any other sweetener.
