Spicy Lamb Rub

We hand-crafted our small batch, Spicy Lamb Rub to deliver a complex flavor to your lamb dish along with a bit of a spicy kick.  Whether you use the rub on a Rack of Lamb or lamb chops, the flavorful crust will add a new dimension to the dish.  You can also substitute the rub for most seasonings with your Middle Eastern recipe calling for a lamb rub as well.  Many of the ingredients in our Spicy Lamb Rub are found in Middle Eastern spice blends which is why it will compliment kebobs, kafta and other recipes.

Many lamb dishes are served with Mint Jelly or Mint Sauce, as it adds more flavor as a condiment.  This spice rub has a lot of flavor already, so if you choose to use a mint condiment on the side, use sparingly so it doesn’t take away from the flavor of the rub.

You can also use this rub very nicely on other meats besides lamb, such as a beef roast.  Sprinkle a bit on your roasted vegetables or other Vegetarian proteins, as well as a substitute for your curry spices.
