Tandoori Curry Spice

We hand-craft our Tandoori Curry Spice to have a very classic flavor, yet with our own extras to give it our own signature flavor. Tandoori Spice was originally blended in Northern India and Pakistan to season foods to be cooked in a Tandoor, or Indian clay oven, the flavor they produce has become popular all over the world.

Tandoori cooking is known more as a flavor, especially with chicken. Cooks will marinate skinless half chickens overnight, then skewered and baked in the tandoor In Western kitchens, we prepare the food the same way, but just bake, broil or grill our Tandoori Chicken and other dishes. Try it on chicken or fish. It is also excellent on sauteed foods as well. Delicious for seasoning lamb or beef. You also find the tandoori recipes prepared as kabobs on skewers.

Use in place of a BBQ rub on your favorite meat or other protein. They share many of the same spices. Rub directly on meat, or mix with plain yogurt for a marinade. It imparts a great flavor on vegetables, potatoes and even popcorn. Use as you would a seasoning salt.

In addition to our Tandoori Curry Spice, we have an excellent selection of other Curry Spices, which created in small-batches. They are all complex in spices and herbs which have attracted a very large and loyal following, not just from our local friends, but from all across the country.

Our curry blends include our Madras Curry, Maharajah Curry, Garam Masala, Tikka Masala, Red Thai Curry Spice, and Thai Coconut Green Curry Powder. We also have a selection of North African, Moroccan and Middle Eastern blends such as our own Lebanese Za’atar, and Harissa Spice, and Berbere Spice blends.  We even have a Japanese Curry Powder blend.
