Irish Breakfast – Rick’s Tea Face 05/12/2026
I’ve been burning a lot of midnight oil lately. The store’s work is never done for us whether at the store or at home. So, the next morning I like to start the day with a breakfast tea. Usually English Breakfast, but I’ll also go for a cup of Irish Breakfast, as I did today. Irish breakfast is very brisk tea blend, somewhat bolder and if steeped right, never bitter.
Our Irish Breakfast is blended to be extra bold, which is why it’s popular among our tea sippers who like a stronger cuppa. As an iced tea, it holds up well to ice, or forget the ice and just chill it overnight as we do when we have the time. Our blender uses a Broken Leaf Second Flush Indian Assam Tea, along with Broken Leaf Kenyan Black Tea. The second flush, or second growth of a tea bush is a smaller leaf. By breaking the tea leaf, it create more surface area, allowing for a stronger tea. Both Assam and Kenyan teas are inherently bolder teas to start with, so our blender makes sure to use these steps to ensure you have a bold tea.
If you like a stronger, bolder black tea and haven’t tried our Irish Breakfast Tea yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. It holds up to milk and makes an outstanding iced teas as well, so maybe you need to give it a try. If you want to read more about our Irish Breakfast Tea, please click HERE. Then, stop in or pick up some on our website. The boldness won’t disappoint you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have one sip left. Cheers!
