Our hours do vary during the holidays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so check with us at that time for specific hours.

Domestic Orders

We use both USPS and UPS for most of our standard ground shipping, including our Free Shipping* for Spice and Tea orders $50 and over. We reserve the right to change and use additional shippers as necessary, as well as modify our policy without notice. For international orders we use a variety of services depending on the country and their regulations.

Orders typically are shipped within 1-2 days depending on when the order is placed and received by us. Please allow for 3-5 days in transit for domestic orders.

Our $8.49 Flat Rate Shipping for orders under $50 applies to orders shipped to addresses within all 50 states, as well as Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. It also only applies to Spices & Teas, and small tea & spice accessories, such as tea ball and pincher infusers, spoons, other small items, and not to breakable, non-food merchandise and some breakable food items. Excluded items include Teapots, Cups, Mugs, Oils & Vinegars and other larger, heavier and breakable items. Shipping will be calculated at Check-Out in the Shopping Cart.

Free Shipping* only applies to Spices & Teas and small tea & spice accessories shipped to addresses within all 50 states, as well as Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The Free Shipping* does not apply to any breakable, non-food merchandise and some breakable, food items included in an order $50 and over. This includes Teapots, Cups, Mugs, Oils & Vinegars and other larger, heavier and breakable items. The Spices & Teas will still be free, but shipping charges will apply to the excluded items. The shipping will be calculated at Check-Out in the Shopping Cart. If you have any sipping questions, please contact us.

UPS cannot ship to PO Boxes, so we will use USPS if being shipped to a PO Box. We can ship your merchandise expedited, including 2 & 3 Day Delivery and Overnight Delivery at additional cost. Restrictions might apply for weekends and holidays. If you have any questions or are looking for special handling, please check with us first.

International Orders

For international orders to Canada, and the UK, we use the most cost-effective carrier available to us.  International Shipping Cost is not shown in the Shopping Cart since we must see the order before we can quote the shipping due to weight, size of package, the country we are shipping to and the carrier used.   That is why your order might not process.  If you are in Canada or the UK, we will gladly quote the shipping cost for your and then manually process your order if you agree to the cost.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but as a small business, our International orders are minimal at this time so we do do have automatic International Shipping Rates built into our website.

For other countries outside Canada and the UK, please check with us first for shipping availability and costs, as your order will not process.  We do not have International Shipping Rates posted since there are so many restrictions.  We are not even able to ship to many countries.  If you have are any questions about shipping costs or restrictions, please check with us first and we will gladly quote the rates for you, if we are able to ship to your country.

Shipping rates and policies are subject to change without notice as they can change to us also without notice.  Shipping rates do not apply to commercial accounts.

Commercial Account Shipping

For Commercial Accounts and larger Spice & Tea quantities, we reserve the right to charge additional shipping rates. The amount of the shipping charged will depend on several factors including products ordered, weight of total shipment and destination. Please contact us for quantity and shipping quotes.

 

Free Shipping only applies to orders $50 and over consisting of Spices & Teas and small tea & spice accessories, such as tea ball infusers, spoons and similar items, shipped to addresses within all 50 states, as well as Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. We do offer expedited shipping, and we have rates posted on our Shipping Rate Page.  But since there are so many variables involved such as the type of merchandise being shipped, destination, when we receive your order and how soon you need the order to arrive, there are exceptions to our policy and rates beyond our control.  So,  if you need more exact information of expedited shipping, please contact us for a quote.  We don’t bury low-cost, or “free” shipping in our prices, as some companies do, which is why we would rather provide you a real quote.  So call or email us if you need your order sooner than normal ground shipping times.

If shipping costs and other factors raise our costs which we must pass on, we reserve the right to modify this and all policies at any time without notice.

Next Day and Other Expedited Shipping:

Orders must be received by 12:00 noon to be shipped the same day. There are times when a shipment will not be able to be shipped the same day. If this is the case, we will contact you. There are other circumstances where these rates and timetables will change, such as when we receive the order, Holiday Season, type of breakable merchandise, destination, etc. If these would affect your request, we will contact you. If you require additional information, please contact us before placing your order. They are subject to change without notice.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on food products. Non-food merchandise can be refunded or exchanged with a receipt, in the original packaging and in saleable condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We inspect all merchandise for defects before shipping, but things can happen and damage can occur during shipping. If you received damaged merchandise as a result of shipping, please contact us immediately so we can determine the best way to handle a replacement. All non-food merchandise returns must be initiated within 5 Business Days. Special Return Policies might apply during the Christmas Holidays, but no returns will be accepted after 30 days.
