State Fair Kettle Corn Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 08-31-2026

Fall is just around the corner, and while the day temperatures out here will be warmer for quite a while longer, it’s still the beginning of the Autumn sports season, specifically College Football and with it hot Kettle Corn. As you might have read in past years, while I don’t get back to Michigan to see my beloved Wolverines at The Big House as often as I’d like, I can still enjoy my Kettle Corn…Tea. It tastes just like a bag Kettle Corn. Crazy. I know! It has a very large fan following.

Some of our long-time friends know that I lost my brother, Dave, almost 8 years ago. He was my football buddy. It was a Saturday ritual, or as we refer to it in Ann Arbor, a Holy Day of Obligation, as a nod to the legendary Bob Ufer, who called 36 years of games. One game, sitting among 114,000 fans and you’re hooked. Buying and eating the Kettle Corn on the way out is part of my ritual. So, sipping the spot-on flavor any time of the year, is special to me with special memories, and it just tastes good.

Our blender even uses roasted rice, which pops and tastes like popcorn when they roast it. They then add other ingredients and flavors to give you that caramelized flavor.
