Chestnut Grove Black Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 11-12-2025

Our Chestnut Grove Black Tea is my Tea Face this week. It’s a personal flavor of ours. We keep a packet of it in our pantry. I was speaking with a friend who grows chestnuts. He has quite a grove, along with other friends. Once harvested, they sell them raw or roasted. The smell of roasting chestnuts is a Fall tradition. Used in stuffings, or just eaten roasted, the flavor is unmistakable. Our blender was able to to capture the nuances of the chestnuts, and more. It’s been quite while since I’ve shared it, so it seemed natural to talk about it this week. The time of the year is right, it is a flavor of the season, so here it is.

Chestnut Grove, from our first sip, was a flavorful experience. We knew we had to bring it to you. It has become a favorite for many of our friends. The flavor is…chestnut, which to us tastes more like a blend of hazelnut and maple. You might pick up other notes yourself. If you’ve not sipped it before, the flavor is smooth, and unlike any other tea we carry. It’s what we would call a dessert tea, because of how the flavor will accompany a scone, a slice of mincemeat pie, or other traditional British snack.

So, if you’ve not had the pleasure of sipping it before, then you are missing out on a real treat. For more information to convince you to try it, please click HERE. Then, once convinced, stop by our store or pick up some online. You’ll wonder why you waited so long. Cheers!
