Cranberry Nut Muffin – Rick’s Tea Face 10-21-2024

It’s been a year since we brought you our seasonal Cranberry Nut Muffin. And, if you didn’t know it was a green tea, you’d be hard pressed to tell me it was. As we tell our friends, this tea is the definition of a dessert tea. The cranberry and pecan flavors are…cranberry and pecan. Our blender adds in orange, apple and vanilla to round out what you’d expect to find in the most delicious muffin ever. I’ve yet to make just one cup. I have to steep a second cup as soon as I finish my first. I add a touch of sweetener to bring out the flavors even more.

I’ve never been a “pairing” person, since I believe you sip your favorite tea with whatever you’re eating at that time. But, I’ll make an exception. I’d love to sip this Cranberry Nut Muffin tea with my mother’s Belgian Waffles, which I’ve eaten and made my entire life. I need to make some waffles now. One sip and you’ll know what I mean.
