English Breakfast Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 07-16-2025

Today I’m drinking our full-flavored English Breakfast, as cold as I could get after a day at the store. Today, July 16th was my dad, John’s, birthday. He would have been 110. I mention him since we’d sit around in the Summer and drink iced tea after working outside, cooking outdoors, while camping, after fishing or just doing father-son things. We learn a lot from fathers. From my dad, I learned outdoor cooking, camping, car repair, carpentry electronics, plumbing, and while cooking, drinking large glasses of brisk iced tea, and it was always English Breakfast. Why EB? Being married to my mom, an English lady, we didn’t have flavored teas. That simple.

As you’ve read, I drink all kinds of teas hot and iced. And while I like my fruit, flavored herbal teas iced down in the Summer, we drink English Breakfast when we need our thirst cut and need to be refreshed. I prefer a slash of lemon and a touch of sweetener, which is how I’ve drank it forever.

Our English Breakfast comes from one of our Canadian blenders, so theirs is bolder than others, as they sell their teas in the UK, whose tea sippers like their EB to stand up to a spot of milk or cream. So, if you love a brisk cuppa hot or iced, then this is your tea. To read more about it, please click HERE. Then, stop by and pick some up in our store or online. Now, back to my last iced tea of the day. Cheers!
