Licorice Mint Relaxing Spa Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 09/30/2025

Licorice Mint Relaxing Spa Tea is a special tea for me. We crafted it and I featured it 7 years ago when we first brought it out, so I knew it was time again. It’s special for several reasons. First of all, it tastes great. Our house-crafted blend of licorice, peppermint, fennel, basil and other things go together so well. I love all the flavors, and as a blend, they are a wonderful melange that work as a tasty symphony of herbal notes. As I said, I love it.

Then, on a personal note, my British mother, who would have been 109 in a couple days, loved licorice, as any proper Brit would. My grandparents also kept black licorice around at all times. I would putter around the basement with my grandfather, learning woodworking, cabinet making and violin making. So, the licorice part of the tea is a tea of remembrance for me.
