Roasted Caramel Almond – Rick’s Tea Face 12/23/2025

As the busy Christmas season ends, and we move toward the New Year, we use these evenings to wind down with a cup of tea and…that’s about it. OK, we reflect on how our friends, both longtime ones who have been us and our store for years and new friends who visited us for the first time this Christmas season. The tea this evening is our Roasted Caramel Almond. An herbal tea, there isn’t any caffeine to keep me up. It’s been one of our top teas from the day we brought it in. It has one of our largest followings, and with one sip, you’ll know why.

Roasted Caramel Almond has many of the nuanced flavors of the Christmas season, especially caramel and almond, which are flavors I love in just about anything. I grew up the almond cookies, tarts, almond rolls, English caramels and much more. My mother and grandmother were great bakers. It’s unfortunate we don’t have their many of their recipes for many of these pastry delights. It might remind you of other flavors like almond cookies, granola, and caramel apples. The touch of beetroot gives it a bit of natural sweetness and light, pink color. It does contain almond pieces, in case you need to avoid them.
