Here’s Scottish Breakfast, another of my teas I’m revisiting to start 2026. It’s a great Breakfast Tea. Robust, malty, oak notes…much more complex than an English Breakfast or Irish Breakfast Tea. It holds up well to milk as a proper British cuppa should. You can see that it also has very coppery color. Beautiful.

I like it due to these complex notes, which are quite obvious if you make 2 cups of black teas at the same time like Scottish Breakfast and another breakfast black tea, like English or Irish. Taste them side-by-side so you can compare the large notes and the subtitles. You also might want to have a scone to nibble with your cup.
