State Fair Kettle Corn Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 08-20-2024

It’s that time of the year when we our thoughts turn to the Fall, cider, cider mills, fresh doughnuts….and College Football…and bags of Kettle Corn…and our State Fair Kettle Corn Tea. Some of you know my penchant for kettle corn, so for those who do not, it’s makes sense why we carry the tea, which tastes just like kettle corn, especially when you add a touch of sugar to give it that caramelized sugar flavor of a hot bag of kettle corn.

My brother and I, for over 40 years, would attend University of Michigan (Go Blue!) Football games in The Big House in Ann Arbor every Fall. With over 100,000 fans at every game, it’s an event and not just a game. On the way out, we’d buy several bags of kettle corn. One to eat on the way to the car, one to eat on the way home and a couple to eat at our homes. The flavor of kettle corn brings back great memories. In the absence of going to the games these days as often as I’d like, when one of our tea blenders crafted this State Fair Kettle Corn Tea, it was like being at a game, just without the popcorn kernels to contend with. It’s developed it’s own cult-like following, and must-have for many, including me.

The taste is remarkably like the popcorn. Our blender even uses roasted rice, which pops and tastes like popcorn when they roast it. It’s what’s in Genmaicha Green Japanese Tea to give it the characteristic roasted flavor. They add other ingredients and flavors you have one of my personal favorites. You have to taste to appreciate it…or not, but if you like kettle corn, then our State Fair Kettle Corn Tea is a must try. For more information, please click HERE, then stop by our store or pick up some online. The Fall season is upon us, and unless you make your own kettle corn, this tea is a must. Please excuse me while I finish my first cup, and make a second. Cheers, and Go Blue!
