Vietnamese Black Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 01/12/2026
With the new year, I’m kind of resetting my tea list. Of course I have my daily usuals, but my second or some days, third cup is where I mix them up. Right now, I’m cycling back through some teas I haven’t had in quite a while, like today’s Vietnamese Black Tea. Vietnam produces some interesting teas. Great flavors. It is also the 7th largest tea producer. The climate makes their teas smoother, not as harsh as some green and black teas can be.
This Vietnamese black tea reminds me of an old school Darjeeling I grew up with. Smooth, mild, nice coppery color…just the type of tea to sip in the afternoon. It doesn’t have the astringency of some English Breakfast blends, which also makes it a very pleasant tea.
So, if straight, black teas are your preference, and you haven’t tried our Vietnamese Black Tea yet, then you really should, especially if you like milder teas, or looking for an afternoon cuppa. It also is a good place top start if you’re coming over from coffee and don’t want a flavored tea. For much more information about the tea, please click HERE. Once you’ve taken a look stop by our store, or online, and pick up a packet. It might become a new favorite. Now for my last sip. Cheers!
