This Glass Mug with Strainer is different than most tea mugs with infusers. It’s actually a small teapot which doubles as a mug. With this one, you steep your tea loose in the mug, then when ready, just pour into your cup and the strainer top, it strains the tea leaves and keeps them from getting into your cup.
If you prefer, use as a large tea cup. Just use a larger tea infuser for your tea. At 18.6 ounces, whether you use it as a teapot or a cup, it holds about twice your average cup, giving you plenty of tea to enjoy.
