Baked Apple Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 09-30-2024
We’re well into apple picking season and with it, I look to our apple type teas, and we have a good number of them, green black and herbal. Growing up, my mother liked McIntosh Apples for her pies, tarts, wrapped baked apples, and anything else she made with apples. They come into season in late August, so we would have early pies and tarts long before the heart of the apple picking season hit. Our next door neighbor grew them, so I’ve always loved fresh-picked apples as soon as I could get them. That’s why I start sipping my apple teas in late August. This tea is Baked Apple, which is an extraordinarily delicious green tea, which we just brought back for the season. Let me tell you why you need to try it.
I said my mother would bake apple pies, tarts and more. Well, this tea gives me the best of all worlds. It has a great apple flavor, layered with the spices in your best apple pies, plus the flavor of a perfectly baked pie crust….all in one cup. Yes, the tasty crust, if you pay close attention to your taste buds. Our blended adds right the combination of apple, cinnamon, almonds, star anise and other flavors. The result is an experience and not just another cup of tea. The scent alone might draw you in, but one sip and you might have just found a new favorite.
If you’re a regular friend of ours, you know we have some great teas with apple flavors, including our Roasted Caramel Almond, and seasonal teas Candied Apple, and Apple Pear, but this new Baked Apple could become one of our top-selling green teas real fast. You still probably need more information, so to learn more about this absolutely delightful tea, please click HERE. Then, stop by our store, or pick up some on our website. Now, back to my tea, with some apple & cheese slices. Hey, I learned it from my grandfather. Cheers!
