Baked Apple Green Tea

Baked Apple Green Tea is a very special tea, which you will discover with your first sip. As the name says, it will remind you of baked apples, whether wrapped in a pastry, or baked them in a pie. Now, think of the flavor of the pie crust baked just right, then crumbled in your tea. This is the finishing touch which sets our Baked Apple Tea apart from our other apple-flavor teas.

Our friends love apple flavors in their teas, both green and herbal, and Baled Apple is no exception. Our blender starts with a luxury green sencha tea which has a smooth finish itself. They add apples, sultanas, currants, and elderberries for the applely base. Add some cinnamon, almonds, and touch of star anise and other flavors and you have a fine flavor with all the flavors both pronounced and nuanced. And the nuances of baked pie crust flavor make the flavor even more special. Try it for yourself and see if it deserves a spot on your tea shelf.

Steeping Instructions
Hot tea brewing method: Put 1 slightly heaping tsp of loose tea for each 7-9oz of water in the teapot. Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Let cool a minute or 2 (to about 180ºF). Pour the water over tea. Steep 3 to 7 minutes. Milk & Sugar are not recommended.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Let cool a minute or 2 (to about 180ºF). Pour 1 1/4 cup water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tea. Add Ice. Top up with cold water, garnish & sweeten to taste.
