Description
Vietnamese Green Tea
Vietnamese Green Tea is considered a rare tea in many tea circles. The leaves come from old Tuyet San tea trees. They grow in the northern parts of Vietnam, at high altitudes of about 1500 meters, or about 5000 feet. These mountain ranges are covered with heavy clouds most of the year, making for ideal moist growing conditions and consistently high quality tea.
Vietnamese Green has a golden color, with a light, grassy flavor. It has a slightly floral scent, with jasmine notes. These characteristics set it apart from other green teas. It’s a tea you must sip to appreciate. If you are a lover of green teas, then you need to give it a try.
We have many other green teas, both unflavored and flavored. The unflavored teas are teas in their purest state, allowing you to pick up all the subtle nuances derived from the tea as it grown in the local environs, soil and other conditions. From region to region, country to country, even how the tea is dried and processed affects the flavor. One to consider is our Fukamushi Green Tea from Japan. The leaf is finer rolled and has a slightly more grassier flavor than other green teas.
We have so many more green teas, each with their own characteristics, look and taste. You need to check them out in our store or on our website to fully appreciate how they differ and can vastly expand your tea experience.
