I’ve never Tea Faced Chun Mee before, even though I sip it every so often. Well, it’s time. The name “Chun Mee” means Precious Eyebrows due to the curved shape of the tea leaf after the tea is processed, pan-fired and rolled. Chun Mee is less acidic, so the flavor is lighter. It’s clean vegetal flavor also has a bit of sweetness to some sippers.

I like these lighter flavor green teas as an alternative to the more traditional grassier flavor green teas. The color of the leaf tea is characterized as a light, dusty green. When steeped, it has a darker, yellowish color. It also makes a nice, iced tea if you like cold green teas.

If you’re a green tea sipper, then you need to try it if you haven’t yet. It’s a delightful tea to keep in your tea pantry when you want a milder green tea.
