Passion Fruit Oolong Tea

Passion Fruit Oolong Tea is a delightful oolong tea. We get many requests for passion fruit flavor teas, but only have this oolong. We’ve sampled many, but no others have met our taste requirements.

Our blender uses a Chinese Oolong tea as the base tea. A Chinese oolong has a more characteristic oolong flavor many want. They then use Passion Fruit flavor for the light, fruity flavor and calendula petals for a fresh look, and compliment the passion fruit flavor. They are also rich in polyphenols and antioxidants which add an extra heathy touch to an already heathy green oolong tea.

Steeping Instructions
Hot tea brewing method: Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea, for each 8oz of water in the cup/teapot. Pour the boiled, but slightly cooled water over tea. About 180 degrees. Briefly infuse with freshly boiled water and then pour off. Steep 1 to 5 minutes depending on your taste. Milk and sugar not recommended.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiled, but slightly cooled to 180 degree water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tea. Add Ice. Top with cold water. Garnish & sweeten to taste.
