Masala Chai Tea

Our Masala Chai Tea is a full bodied blend which combines premium Ceylon black tea with classic South Indian masala spices. It has all the spices you expect in a cup of chai tea, without having it lean too heavy on any one spice. You can pick up the cardamom, ginger, clove, cinnamon and the other requisite spices of a premium blended chai.

If you are also a fan of Chai Lattes, this will hold up well to the milk, but…be careful. You don’t want to dilute the spiced flavor too much or you’ll miss out on all the good flavors.

The warm spices are meant to be enjoyed sip by sip. Too many versions are way to heavy on the cinnamon another spice. Ours is balanced in a way to allow each spice to be showcased, yet as part of a blend, they all work together to give you a most satisfying cuppa.

If you love Chai teas, you will need to consider our traditional Night of the Iguana Chocolate Chai, Vanilla Chai, Masala Rooibos Chai, Taj Oolong Chai, Samurai Mate, which has gentle chai notes, and on a seasonal basis, Sleepy Hollow Pumpkin Chai.

Steeping Instructions
Hot Tea Steeping Instructions: Put 1 heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 8oz of water in your tea cup or teapot. Using a tea infuser to hold the tea makes it easier. Pour boiling water over the tea. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

Iced Tea Instructions: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiled water on tea. Steep 3 to 5 min. Strain tea into pitcher, adding water and/or ice to complete the liter or quart. Garnish & sweeten to taste.
