We crafted our Parisian Café from a flavorful blend of Shallots, Chives and other herbs used in French and European cuisines providing for a very versatile seasoning. While we crafted this blend to evoke the herbal flavors found in French boulangeries and bistros, we wanted a blend which would compliment the flavors in whatever dish it was used. Parisian Café could easily become one of your favorite blends.
The delicate flavor of the Shallot is a staple in French cuisine, as it imparts a lighter onion flavor with garlic nuances. Chives are also commonly used in French cooking but also throughout the world. When hand-blended with the other spices, Parisian Café provides a medley of flavors.
Sprinkle 1 to 2 teaspoon of Parisian Café per pound to season fish, chicken or other protein before baking. Add to scrambled eggs, or on roasted, steamed or sautéed vegetables for an explosion of flavor. Sprinkle on baked potatoes, rice and noodles.
