Calendula Petals, also known as Marigold Petals, are used for a variety of applications. Calendula officinalis is an annual herb bearing an edible yellow or orange daisy-like flower. They are grown throughout the world.

In teas, they are used to brighten the color of the loose tea look. When used in herbal teas, they add a mild, earthy flavor with slight peppery notes.

Calendula and other “cousins” of the sunflower, they are all used to provide color and flavor to cheese, butter, and other foods.

Calendula is also used in oils, balms, lotions and tinctures for help with skin inflammation and irritation.
