Jasmine Green Tea is one of the most pleasant tasting green teas available on the market.  It is a green tea with surprising body and a captivating jasmine floral character. You first detect the scent of a floral bouquet of jasmine flowers in bloom. The scent might invoke thoughts of a flower garden. The jasmine scent and drying process imparts the classic jasmine flavor you expect.

The production of jasmine tea is quite interesting. The tea process begins with high quality green tea, and fine jasmine blossoms, which have the most intense aroma. Traditionally, layers of jasmine blossoms were placed between fine green tea, which then has hot air is passed through the jasmine blossoms and then filtered through the tea which imparts the jasmine scent and flavor to the tea. The result is a fine, smooth cup of tea with a lovely jasmine flavor and scent. Sometimes jasmine flavor is also added to the tea to further enhance the scent and flavor.

Steeping Instructions
Hot tea brewing method: Put 1 slightly heaping tsp of loose tea for each 8oz of water in the cup or teapot. Pour the boiled but slightly cooled water over tea. Steep 3 to 7 minutes. Milk and Sugar are not recommended. Makes a wonderful Iced Tea as well.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tea. Add Ice. Top up with cold water, garnish & sweeten to taste.
