Lemon Raspberry Mate is a very flavorful mate, worthy of your tea pantry. How does one craft such a wonderful cup? Well, start with a luxury Brazilian Yerba Mate. Next, add the right combination of flavors, like sweet raspberries, apple, orange, and other flavors. The result is an energetic, delicious beverage.

If you’ve not had mate before, the caffeine content is on the same level as coffee, but release slower, making it easier to drink all day. Plain Yerba Mate can be an acquired taste, but when blended with other flavors, you can develop an entirely different appreciate for it, which is why we carry several varieties.

Steeping Instructions:
Hot tea brewing method: Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 heaping teaspoon, per 8 oz of water in your tea cup or teapot. Pour the boiling water over the mate. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time, the better the flavor as more fruit or herb flavor is extracted). Garnish and sweeten to taste.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 6 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water on the tea. Steep 5 to 10 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tea. Add Ice. Top up with cold water, garnish & sweeten to taste.
