Rhubarb Lemonade

Rhubarb Lemonade is a delightful herbal tea. We’ve had requests for rhubarb flavored teas, and this one impressed us from the first sip. Those of use who grew up with rhubarb pie, will pick up the flavor right away. Add a bright, lemonade flavor and there you have it.

To achieve this flavor mélange, our blender adds rhubarb pieces, apple pieces, lemon pieces, and pineapple pieces, and a touch of vanilla, along with other flavors. This combination makes an outstanding tea both hot and iced.

You will need an infuser to make the tea. We have dozens of different Infusers, but find our Pincer Ball Tea Infusers are easy to use and come in several sizes for different size cups and pots. To take a look, please click HERE.

Steeping Instructions:
Hot tea brewing method: Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 8oz of water in the cup/teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 10 minutes according to taste. Sweeten taste.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot or Pyrex dish. Pour 2 cups boiling water on tea. Steep 10 minutes. Remove loose tea and add 2 more cups cold water or Ice to make 32 oz. Garnish & sweeten to taste.

Important: Always Steep with Boiling water for 5-10 minutes in order to obtain a safe beverage.
