Spicy Baked Chicken and Onions

Our Spicy Baked Chicken and Onions is a simple dish and very tasty. Our Rick’s Casablanca Seasoning is one of our more popular seasonings since it goes well with chicken, fish, roasts and more. Since it has all the spices and herbs crafted into it, you don’t need to use any other spices in your recipes.

We really like using it on chicken, whether baked, grilled, sauteed, or rotisseried. It has a bit of spiciness from the touch of cayenne pepper we blend into it. The flavor is outstanding.

If you have never tried our Rick’s Casablanca Seasoning, once you try it with this recipe, you’ll find yourself wanting to use it with other recipes.

Serves 4

Ingredients:
2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut in half and pounded to about 1/2″
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter, Canola or Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Rick’s Casablanca Seasoning
1 Large Onion Sliced Thin

Directions:
Place the oven rack in the medium position. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Place the chicken breasts in a medium mixing bowl. Drizzle them with the melted butter or oil, coating them. Sprinkle the Casablanca Seasoning on them and toss to coat evenly.

In a 9 by 9 inch baking dish, arrange the onions in the dish. Place the chicken pieces on top of the onions. Cover and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the cover, baste with the juices and toss the onions. Bake for another 15 minutes uncovered until thoroughly cooked, basting every 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, and serve with some of the onions. Add a rice dish or another favorite side of your choice.
