Applewood Smoked Sea Salt

Applewood Smoked Sea Salt is made with pure Sea Salt that has been slowly smoked above an Applewood fire, resulting in a smooth, slightly sweet tasting sea salt, without harshness or bitterness. It adds a delicious flavor on meats like roasted chicken, pork tenderloin and smoked ham. As a milder salt, you can use as a flavor accent with fish, shellfish, and roasted & steamed vegetables. Add a sprinkle on your rice, potatoes, eggs, potatoes, burgers, French fries and more.

Use as a finishing spice on your steaks, chicken and other meats. For a light smokey flavor, add to your sauces, soups, salads, grilling spice rubs, or in your barbecue sauce.

Smokey flavors are a hallmark of many cuisines, especially Southwest, Mexican and Cajun & Creole.  Tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, burritos and carne asada are just a few South of the Border dishes which will thank you for a dash of smoked salt. Applewood adds a lighter smoked flavor than a hickory or mesquite salt does.
