Cherrywood Smoked Sea Salt

Take your entrées to the next level by seasoning with this exquisite smoked salt preferred by chefs around the world. Cherrywood Smoked Sea Salt is made with pure Sea Salt that has been slowly smoked above a Maine Cherrywood fire – a centuries old process. The result is a smooth, slightly sweet tasting sea salt, without harshness or bitterness.  It enhances many foods, including beef, poultry, seafood, vegetables and many more.

Sprinkle on your steaks before grilling, or on your roasts before roasting, even indoors. Rub or sprinkle on your burgers depending on how heavy of a smokiness you are trying to achieve. It adds the outdoor smokey flavor without adding wood chips to your grill. Serve as a finishing salt to sprinkle on your steak instead of steak sauce. We’ve been in restaurants where they provided a “flight” of different smoked and flavored salts to show how different salt flavors can change the sensory experience of the dish.

The same applies to poultry, whether chicken, turkey or other fowl. You don’t need to add a lot unless you are looking for a heavier, smokey flavor, as if you smoked the poultry for hours.
