Tiptree Lemon Marmalade

Tiptree Lemon Marmalade is a traditional British citrus marmalade, made with fine cut peel. It has a little extra sugar to contrast the tartness of the lemon, to give it a sweeter flavor. Only using the finest citrus fruits, the lemons are sourced fresh from Sicily.

American taste is used to a sweeter, more sugary Marmalade, which can have quite a lemony flavor. But with the added sugar and other sweeteners, can also mask the goodness and flavor of the lemon or whatever citrus marmalade you are enjoying.  British marmalade and preserves tend to not be quite as sweet, (don’t misunderstand, they are still sweet), but by not being so syrupy sweet, they allow the fruit flavors to come through more. It is purely a personal preference.

Tiptree Lemon Marmalade is made by Wilkin & Sons Ltd. In England, which has been around since 1885. They have a Royal appointment by her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

The marmalade is Kosher certified and made from Non-GMO Certified ingredients.

They all have classic British flavor. What could be better topping your toast, muffin, or other pastry.
