Shakespeare English Breakfast Tea – Rick’s Tea Face 01/15/2024
I just wanted a good, sturdy cup of tea, but a bit lighter than our regular English Breakfast. That’s why I chose our Shakespeare English Breakfast for my cup. It’s a blend of several Ceylon teas from the Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula, and Uva regions of Sri Lanka. It is also one of our teas in our Collector’s Series, which are teabags in wooden boxes and embossed tins. We have quite a few teas in the series, most of which, we don’t have in our loose teas, and only available in these teabag boxes and tins.
Our Shakespeare Blend a traditional English style breakfast tea with good body and full flavor notes. It has a coppery and bright color. It will also hold up to milk, if you are so inclined, which is how I grew up learning tea from my mother and grandmother. Since I rarely use milk in my tea, I like my English Breakfast Teas to be bold enough to drink plain, with a touch of sugar, which is my preferred way to sip them. Shakespeare is such a tea, but with just Ceylon teas in the blend, is a bit less strong than our other breakfast blends.
