Chervil
Chervil (Anthriscus Cerefolium) is native to southern Russia and Southeast Europe. It is a delicate, yet pungent herb, which adds its distinctive flavor to the many European cuisines, especially French.
It combines well with many green herbs. It adds a wonderful flavor to salad dressings, poultry, seafood, and vegetables. In France it is added to omelets, salads, and soups.
You will find it in many French herb blends, such as traditional Fines Herbes, which is used to flavor seafood dishes, chicken and other essential French recipes. We handcraft our Fines Herbes so each of the herbs stand out.
We also blend it into our Paris Seasoning, which along with dill and other herbs accent vegetables fish, egg dishes, and so much more. It is also used in Bearnaise sauce.
Look at our Herb Garlic Pepper for another of our blends in which we use chervil. Many ways to use it.
