Desert Spring Tea

Our Desert Spring Tea is a very light, premium tea with Jasmine & Fruity undertones. It is one of our house-crafted teas we blend ourselves. We start with Premium Silver Needle White Tea, Sencha-style green tea and plain Rooibos. The combination provides a very smooth tea base, which when drank alone has a light flavor with characteristics of both the Silver Needle and Sencha Teas, with the light nuttiness of the Rooibos. We then hand blend in jasmine, citrus and other flavors for a most satisfying flavor.

Desert Spring is one of our most popular light tea blends since it blurs the white, green, and Rooibos lines. Yet when you drink it, you can still pick up all three bases…if you listen closely to your palate.

If you like unflavored white teas, we also carry Pai Mu Tan and Elephant Tusk Needle White Tea.

If you like flavored white teas, we also carry Midnight Blue White Tea, Cream Earl White, White Spice Tea, White Christmas and Hearts of Sage white teas.

Steeping Instructions
Hot tea brewing method: Put 1 slightly heaping tsp of loose tea for each 8oz of water in the cup or teapot. Pour the boiled but slightly cooled water over tea. Steep 3 to 7 minutes. Milk and Sugar are not recommended. Makes a wonderful Iced Tea as well.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tea. Add Ice. Top up with cold water, garnish & sweeten to taste.
