Vanilla Bean Sugar
Vanilla Bean Sugar is one of our most delicious sugars. Evoking the comforting flavor of everyone’s favorite desserts, it is made using premium Tahitian Vanilla beans. Just the rich vanilla sugar flavor makes this a much-loved variety.
It is great on chocolate brownies, cinnamon rolls, or coffee cake. Try Vanilla sugar on a bowl of sliced banana and fruit, on oatmeal, or sprinkle it on a pork chop before tossing it on the grill. Even sprinkled on simple sugar cookies makes them special…and delicious.
Sweeten a hot cup of coffee, latte or rim a glass of Kaluha. Use Vanilla Sugar with butter to candy walnuts or pecans.
You can use Vanilla Bean Sugar instead of Vanilla Extract. In recipes that call for vanilla extract, use 1 ½ teaspoons of homemade vanilla sugar per teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add an extra teaspoon of a liquid ingredient per 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla sugar to replace the liquid from the vanilla extract. If you have commercially produced vanilla sugar, use only 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar per teaspoon of vanilla extract.
