Herbs de Provence is a traditional blend of aromatic herbs from the Provence region of France. Known for lavender, this region is located on France’s southeastern tip and borders Italy. It is a flavorful herbal blend which can vary from family to family. Our blend is a very traditional blend, with just the right amount of lavender to remind you of the Provence region.
An excellent addition to any French dish, Herbs de Provence is especially wonderful when combined with olive oil and added to grilled chicken or fish. Use them when roasting beef, pork tenderloins, or Cornish hens. It is also spectacular when used with tomatoes, larger pieces of oven roasted potatoes or in gravies, pizza sauce, salads, soups and stews.
Herbs de Provence makes a very tasty substitute where parsley or other green herbs are asked for. Try it yourself in recipes and see how you can add a twist to your dishes.
