China’s Dragon with Chrysanthemum

Our China’s Dragon with Chrysanthemum is a green tea with a light, lemon citrus flavor, accented with passion fruit and Chrysanthemum flowers.

We’ve had many requests for Chrysanthemum tea or a tea with Chrysanthemum flowers in it. We tried many teas and felt this one would appeal to many customers, first because of it’s lemony, passion fruit flavor. The Chrysanthemum flowers and their reportedly folk uses is a plus.

Chrysanthemum flowers have been used as a digestion aid, and with beta carotene, to help with the eyes. The other folk uses are many, and while we do not support any of these claims, we have many customers who do, so judge for yourself. If nothing else, if you like citrus, you might find a nice, green tea to add to your tea closet.

Hot tea brewing method: Put 1 slightly heaping tsp of loose tea for each 8oz of water in the cup or teapot. Pour the boiled but slightly cooled water over tea. Steep 3 to 7 minutes. Milk and Sugar are not recommended. Makes a wonderful Iced Tea as well.

Iced Tea: For a Liter or quart use 2 heaping Tbsp. of loose tea into teapot. Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water on tea. Steep 5 minutes. Quarter fill serving pitcher straining tes. Add Ice. Top up with cold water, garnish & sweeten to taste.
