Greek Koroneiki Olive Oil
Greek Koroneiki Olive Oil is a varietal olive oil, pressed from the Greek Koroneiki olives. These olives can be traced back over 3000 years, with some of these olive trees about 5000 years old, and still producing. Koroneiki has a dark green color and is more robust than other oils. The taste is sharper, with more of a grassier, peppery finish.
Drizzle Koroneiki over your stuffed grape leave, on your Hummus, or just as a dipping oil. Adding some of our Tuscan Seasoning will liven it up even more for your Pita Bread or Crusty Bread.
The sharper flavor is also suited to drizzle on your lentil dishes, like mujadara. OK, mujadara is Lebanese, but it still adds a nice extra flavor.
Pour some over a block of feta cheese, served with crackers.
For cooking, it works well with grilled fish, lamb, poultry, pasta dishes, chicken, or anywhere you want a more pronounced oil flavor. Enjoy…I mean, Opa!
