Our Lemon Basil Salad Dressing has a fresh, lemony flavor with just enough basil and other spices to make your salad and other dishes come alive. Not heavy as some, just right. We crafted it from flavors we love so we could use it for more than just salads. We love Lemon and Basil, so as a salad dressing they are a delicious combination.

Lemon and basil are two of the most used flavors in cuisines around the world. Basil goes back to ancient India and some think further east still. It followed the trade routes into Greece, Italy, the Middle Eastern countries and throughout Europe. It is found in all parts of the world and in all cuisines.

Lemon also have a long history going back into India and China. They also spread into the Middle East where they became a staple in Persian cooking. They then spread throughout Europe and the rest of the world. This is why various citrus are found in pretty much all cuisines and their recipes.

So, you can see why individually and together they go well with many of the same foods, which is why they pair well. You will find them used in with chicken, pasta, seafood, vegetables and desserts.

Our Lemon Basil Salad Dressing makes a light, delightful dressing for your various mixed greens salads, arugula, field greens and others.

You can also use the prepared dressing as a marinade for chicken, and fish before you grill them. If you grill your Summer vegetables, baste them first with the dressing.

To make our Lemon Basil Dressing:
In a medium mixing bowl, add 1 Ounce (about 4 tablespoons) of our Lemon Basil Salad Dressing Mix, and 3 Tablespoons Water. Whisk to combine. Let set for 5 minutes to let the herbs and spices mingle. Add ⅔ Cup Avocado or Canola Oil. Whisk well to combine.
