Honey Mustard Poppy Seed Salad Dressing

Honey Mustard Poppy Seed Salad Dressing has been one of our personal favorites for many years. After many versions over the years, we knew the flavors we wanted in a dressing mix to share with our friends. So we crafted a blend which would have the right balance between the honey sweetness, the mustard, poppy seeds and the other spices when mixed with the oil and vinegar. The result is a dressing which could get you hooked.

You can also use the dressing as a basting sauce for chicken and pork while cooking. The honey will set up a nice glaze, but watch so it doesn’t burn.

To make the Honey Mustard Poppy Seed Dressing, place 3 Tablespoons of the dressing mix in a medium mixing bowl or salad dressing shaker bottle. Add ¼ cup of white vinegar and ½ cup of vegetable or avocado oil. Whisk well, or shake well if using a dressing bottle, until well mixed. Refrigerate any unused dressing.
