Creamy Peppercorn Salad Dressing

Our Creamy Peppercorn Dressing has a lot of black pepper flavor, adding a wonderful flavor to your salad. It’s a dressing we grew up with, so it’s a throwback for many of our friends, and if you have never had not before, then welcome to one of the truly classic salad dressing flavors. The large black pepper flavor compliments a variety of salad blends and vegetables.

In years past, you might find a Peppercorn Dressing on a simple wedge of iceberg lettuce, which is still one of our favorite ways to use it. It also makes a great vegetable dip as well as a topping for burgers. Use as a dip for your Hot Wings instead of Ranch Dressing. Here is the basic recipe to make the salad dressing.

½ Cup Sour Cream
½ Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Whole Milk
⅓ Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Creamy Peppercorn Dressing Mix

Add the sour cream, mayonnaise and milk to a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Add the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Whisk in. Add the 4 Teaspoons of the Creamy Peppercorn Salad Dressing Mix. Whisk until combined well and is smooth. Cover and refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors develop. Can be stored in a container in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.

You can substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream and mayonnaise. You might have to add a bit more milk to get to the right consistency. You can also use low-fat sour cream and yogurt according to your personal taste.
