Lemon Verbena Leaves
Lemon Verbena is a perennial shrub growing to 6-10′ high. The inch long, glossy, pointed leaves are slightly rough to the touch and emit a powerful scent reminiscent of lemon when bruised.
Lemon Verbena Leaves are used to add a lemon flavor to fish and poultry dishes, vegetable marinades, salad dressings, jams, puddings, Greek yogurt and beverages. It can also be used to make a sorbet.
It also is used to make herbal teas, or added to standard tea in place of actual lemon, which is common with some Moroccan teas. This is how we us it in our store. Not as powerful as Lemongrass, but adds a lighter lemon flavor.
If you are using these for tea blending, we also carry other flowers, herbs and peels. These include: Lavender, Lemongrass, Rose Petals, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Spearmint, Peppermint.
Contains: Lemon Verbena Leaves
