Rose Petals

Rose Petals are added to tea as a flavoring.  We only buy the most fragrant petals we can find so they impart a very strong rose flavor and scent to our teas.  These are food grade so they can be used in teas and other cooking applications.

We carry red rose petals, which provide a beautiful color for both culinary uses and as a tea flavoring.  When mixed with the tea leaves or other herbal ingredients, the red petals look absolutely beautiful and impart a wonderful rose flavor.

When a small amount is added to the tea of your choice and steeped, you will have a wonderful rose accent to your tea.  Be careful, as our rose petals are very heavy in flavor a scent and you can always add more to suit your taste.  You’ll learn how much suits your taste.

While we carry Rose Tea, which is a rose-flavored black tea, we have customers who add even more rose petals for an even stronger rose flavor.

We also use them in our Peaceful Sundown Herbal Tea. We blend in just enough to and a light layer of rose flavor, but not too much to dominate the tea. Rose is an accent in many teas, not overbearing.

They are also used in potpourris, other non-tea beverages,  cooking decorations, and religious purposes in some cultures.
