Taco Seasoning
Our small-batch, house-crafted Taco Seasoning is one of our most popular spice blends, It isn’t overly spicy, just very flavorful, and it’s Sugar-Free. Besides using to season your taco meat, you can also add it to bean dishes and Southwest casseroles. Add some to sour cream for a quick Mexican dip mix. Sprinkle on your Mexican salads, pasta salads, nachos, chili, scrambled eggs or in your Southwest soups and stews.
For a quick taco recipe, brown your choice of beef, chicken, ground turkey or your favorite protein crumbles. Add 4 tablespoons of taco seasoning mix with 8 oz. of water for each one pound of meat. Turn down to simmer. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally or until the mixture starts to thicken up.

To use as a Fajita marinade, for every pound of meat, add a ¼ cup of the seasoning to a ¼ cup of water. Mix well then add the meat and coat. Add ¼ of canola oil, mix well with the meat again, cover and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.
