Cilantro Lime Dip Mix
The zesty lime flavor of our Cilantro Lime Dip Mix, when added to the heat of the jalapenos in concert with our other spices makes a wonderful dip for your chips or vegetables, a tasty salad dressing or a spicy addition to your cooking as a dry seasoning. Experiment and see what you can do with it.
We small-batch, hand-craft all our Dip and Salsa Mixes from our own recipes. They are not just for making dips and salsas. They make great bases for salad dressings, cooking and grilling spices. We have ideas on the packages.
For a dip add contents to 1 cup of sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise. Mix and refrigerate for 30 minutes. For a lower fat version, substitute low fat sour cream and low fat mayonnaise. You can also use plain yogurt in place of the sour cream.
To make a salad dressing, combine 3 Tbs of the mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup of buttermilk.
