Tikka Masala

Tikka Masala is both the famous British Indian Chicken dish, as well as the spice mixture used to make the dish. There is a lot of debate about the origin of Chicken Tikka Masala, but the spice mixtures used have many of the same spices. We crafted our version from a blend of many of the classic spices used in the Tikkas you will find in your better Indian restaurants. One common ingredient is either Garam Masala, or the spices used to make it. Our Garam Masala is one of our most popular curry spices, which makes our Tikka even more flavorful.

Chicken Tikka Masala is the classic dish made with the spice blend, but you will also find it made with Paneer cheese and other meats. The chicken is marinated in a mixture of yogurt and the Tikka spice. The sauce is a tomato-cream base also made using some of the spice.

You will find that a Tikka Masala spice blend can be used in other Indian dishes, especially ones asking for Garam Masala, since the spices are shared with many recipes. Once you start using it and understand the flavor, you’ll find other recipes in which to use it.
